Remembering Oktoberfest in Munich

2008, 2009 and 2010, these are the years when I visited the most famous and biggest festival in the world, the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. I want to let you know that this year's celebration will start from September 17 to October 3. Don't forget to book your flights and hotels earlier. If you will be late, it might cost you more money.

Here are some images taken from 2010 Oktoberfest celebration.

this was taken as we rode the Ferris wheel in the Oktoberfest.

I took this image in one of the biggest beer tents..see how many people were inside here.....thousands of them!

Oktoberfest 2010 Update

I have been talking about the worlds biggest festival for some days now. Oktoberfest is going on now in Munich, Germany and today is its second day of opening. I can't imagine how many people where there today. Some hundreds of thousands maybe? Can you imagine when one beer tent can occupy up to 10,000 people and there are around fourteen small and big beer tents and some other restaurants plus all the people walking on the streets where the festival is held? Amazing! I still did not upload the images I took during our visit today. It means that more updates will be coming soon!

an image from Oktoberfest taken during our visit last September 2009. more images to come soon in my other sites from this year's Oktoberfest celebration.

WW: Oktoberfest 2009 in Munich, Germany

Oktoberfest is still not over. You still have some more days to go and visit this amazing festival. I heard over the news yesterday that the security in Theresienwiese where the Oktoberfest is held is getting rough. Big bags and luggages are being checked. I find it good because that is also for the good and security of the people visiting this great festival. Here is a photo taken by dear HB during our visit last Saturday. We had fun there!

I was there! in Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. This is truly an amazing celebration. Sad to say, I am only good in taking photographs not in beer drinking. Eating is very fine but not alcohol. Here is my photo from last year's October Festival!
