I Need To Clean my Blogroll

Hey peeps! what's up! I hope you are all doing great! I don't quite have a good day today after a disappointing experience with a bank employee in our place. I am writing this experience in my other blog.

You know what, I really need to clean my blogroll. Last night, I found out that some of the original owners of the blogs are no longer the owners of their domain right now. Worst thing that happened was one of my blogroll list was reported to be a so-called "Reported Attack Page". I made a screen shot of that blog and below are the words that appeared when you open it. That particular blog's URL is http://remixmax.net. I can even remember the name of the blog owner, it was Arya. Well, I don't know if this is really his true name. He was even very friendly everytime he left messages and comments in my blog. As I also visited other blogs in my blogroll, I found out that some domains where already for sale. Some are on porno and gambling sites. Some have a lot of pop-ups. That is the reason why I really need to clean my blogroll asap. Hopefully tomorrow, I will start with the general cleaning.

Lastly, I would like to share this so-called "Reported Attack Page" if you can't read it so clearly in my screen shot below. Here are the words that explain a bit about Reported Attack Page;

Time To Clean My Blogroll

Good day everyone! I guess it's time for ranting! I don't usually rant unless it is too much and I'm getting sick of it. I am not really happy after checking my blogroll. I just noticed that most of the blogs who exchanged links with me for the past months even a year now, had deleted my blogs to their blogroll. They are still in my roll and I never delete their links.. I guess it is not fair that there is no reciprocity regarding this. In a couple of days, I will be cleaning my blogroll. If ever I don't find my links to your blogs, I'm so sorry about that because you will be immediately deleted in my roll. This is some sort of inconvenience for me because I manage a lot of blogs and it is just a waste of time doing it. But I will do it because it is just not fair. I guess for now, I won't be accepting exchange links until I am done cleaning my blogroll. Sorry guys. I guess most of you are not new to blogging anymore and you know what I mean. You also know that exchange links is good for us but when it is not mutual, it is not good. How would you feel if your links are also deleted to other blogs when they are in your list? I really don't want to be mean but when it is not fair, it's time to make a decision and act for it. It's just simply putting your feet to others shoes. It is simply a matter of reciprocity. I Love Blogger!

I can't deny that I love blogger! That is the reason why most of my blogs are hosted by blogger. Compared to other blogging platform, I found blogger very easy to navigate. It is also easy for me to upload photos direct from my computer files. I have bravenet and wordpress account also but I truly find it very difficult to load pictures there. I know I need another site to load my photos like photobucket, picasa, etcetera but i don't have much time to load photos in those sites... but in blogger you can easily get it from your computer file. That is the reason why I love blogger and their other services too. I know that I am not an expert in blogger but day to day, I am learning! Sad to say yesterday, it took me time to post pictures and post topics because there were some errors that always appeared. Is blogger having maintenance yesterday? I guess blogger today is perfectly going good again! Below are the messages that appears last night. Happy blogging to all!

I Need To Update my Windows XP Software

I guess I really need to update my Windows XP SP2 software to SP3. I am not so sure about this but I am experiencing a lot of problems now. I can't view my mails/inbox in yahoo. All I see in Entrecard are all black boxes and the worst thing, my computer is running very slow. I new netbook just arrived last week. I ordered it as back-up if ever my obsolete computer will crash. I already tried to use my new netbook and so far, I can view my mails there and can also see all the Entrecard banners in my blogs.

As of this moment this pc is still working but there are just problems that I always encounter like what I just mentioned. Before I update it to SP3, I still need to back-up all my important files and documents to my external hard drive. Hopefully next week! I'll let you know guys if the outcome is better! Tschuss!

Update On Blogs I Follow in Google

What really happened with the the blogs I am following in Google? If you read about my post here last Friday, I mentioned that all the blogs I followed in Google Friend Connect were all gone. I have no idea what happened. Last weekend, I noticed that all the blogs I followed are on my dashboard again. I really don't know what happened! At least, I don't have to worry now because they are back! For all friends who also followed my blogs, thanks a lot..I am slowly following you. Special thanks also to all my friends both online and offline, to all visitors, viewers and readers of this blog, I truly appreciate your time and effort in visiting my here. I wish you all a great evening especially to all my friends in Europe!

I Can't Log-in in Mybloglog Account

Just a few months ago, I changed the yahoo email log-in in mybloglog account. I also know that MyBlogLog is now owned by yahoo. You can also log-in with your yahoo account to mybloglog account using the same password. Since I changed my email sign-in, I have a hard time to log-in now because it says it is not the correct log-in. I even tired both of my yahoo email, the old and new which I use to log-in but it always says, I need to create a new account..I tried to send an email to their contact but it won't go through..i guess I need to create a new one if it won't work again...what a time consuming..back to the start...have a great evening to all..time to slowly sign-off!!

Is Blogger Getting Too Crowded Now?

Is blogger really getting crowded now? Last week as I was trying to sign-in in my blogger account, I was not able to do it immediately due to an error that came out on my pc screen. Below are the messages that appeared on my computer screen. Did you have the same problem?

"Your request took too long to complete. This is typically just a temporary error due to high network traffic or heavy usage of Blogger.

Please hit the back button on your browser and try again. If the problem persists, please contact the Blogger Help Group. We apologize for the inconvenience."

After some couple of trying to sign-in again, I was finally able to log-in in my account. I guess I only need some patience..right guys? I am just curious how many millions of bloggers are using blogger platform. Any idea out there? I guess there are around 7 million bloggers around the world now as I read in one of a site some months ago. Please correct me if I am wrong. I will find it out in a couple of days. How to Enable Comment in Blogger

I am back guys! I feel very sleepy now. Before I bid goodbye in the blogoshere, let me share first this post on how to enable comment in blogger. I always wanted to leave some comments everytime I visit a blog. When comment is disabled in a blog, I let the owner know if it is really disabled or just forgot to enable it. I already encountered some bloggers who forgot to enable it and for those who don't have any idea on how to enable it especially in blogger, here is just a quick tip. I am not really an expert in blogging but I know a little and I wish to share it now..below is the comment of a blogger friend in one of my sites. Hey Prince, hope I give you a little tip on how to enable a comment in blogger. His comments are below;

This is the instruction;

1.) Go to your dashboard
2.) Go to Setting as seen below

3.) From here you can see the comment moderation. It is up to you now what do you want with your comment whether you want to moderate it or not. You can also show the word verification to verify if the one who comment is a human or not ...
4.) There are also a lot of things there to do about your comment like;
- Who can comment in your blog
-Comment Form Placement
-Comment Default for Post
-Comment Time stamp...etc..etc..

For Those Who Want to Exchange Links with Me

I guess this is the time to clear-up this issue. To all blogger friends especially to those who want to exchange links with me, I really appreciate if we can exchange links with each other because we all know that it is also for our own good.

I just have some clarifications about this matter. I really have a difficulty of managing my blogrolls now. As you know I have a lot of sites and I really don't have all the time to check one by one if you really add my sites to your blogroll. Just last month, I found out that there are some bloggers who added my links. I really appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time and effort. They requested me to add their links also. I reciprocated to their request and added them too. I am taking a note now who are really adding me and what sites of mine do you want to add or had just added.

What happened as I visited their sites again, all my links in their sites were gone. I know that there are some bloggers who lost their blogroll due to changing of templates or some other reasons. This happens sometimes as what I heard about other bloggers. But then, these bloggers who remove my links did not change their templates. They still have the same templates. I guess this is not fair...It is very unfair! Come on guys, we need to help each other and be mutual. The spirit of reciprocity should be present in the blogosphere. Without it, this blogging world is not a better place to share our ideas, thoughts, opinions and our experiences too.

So please if you want to exchange links with me, I am really honored to do it. One last thing... I really appreciate it if you add first all my sites or any of my sites that you wish to be included in your blogroll. I would really be glad if you put it under the name of EUROANGEL PLUS SHORT BLOG TITLE MUCH BETTER so that when I visit your blogs and see my sites there, I will immediately add you one once given enough time. But please be patient if I can't add you as soon as possible. as what I have said. I will add you as soon as time permits. Blog-Stats and Pagerank

I guess the most powerful site on the net has updated again Page ranking. You might probably know whom I am talking about here. It is no other than Google which I simply called Big G. I was surprised that my other site entitled Blog Connections got a PR2....hmmmm just confused how PR is really computed by Google. I already read about it before but it seems a little complicated for me. without further adieu here is some statistics of this site...

I guess these are the most important statistics that I can share to you. I just do it once in a while to know how the standing or performance of this site.

Alexa Traffic Update

I am just curious about this site's Alexa traffic update as of today. I guess I need to do this from time to time so that I will know the status of my sites. As you know Alexa is a subsidiary company of Amazon which is famous for operating website that provides web traffic information to other websites. I admire the people who are behind this company..real intelligent ones!!

As of this day, the Alexa traffic ranking of this site went down from 253,063 to 264,647. If you have high numbers in Alexa, it simply means that your site has a lower traffic ranking. From Alexa's statistics, I found out that most of my visitors came from Germany followed by United States, Philippines and the rest of the world. At least I have a better rank in Germany considering the number of 36,780. You can visit Alexa for full traffic of this site. I also have here a traffic diagram from Alexa. Blog Stats Update

Just a bit statistics update of this blog..As blogger, it is good for us to know how our blog is doing, just like knowing its standing in the blogosphere.

I believed this blog is doing good. Thru my hard work and dedication in the blogworld for the past months , I was finally compensated. Compensated in the sense that I finally got a PR4 now.

My dear friend Choco surprised me last end of April. She leave a message in my tagboard saying that this blog have a PR4. I was totally happy and speechless!!! yepeeeyyy!! I believed, I deserve it because I am really doing my best to update this blog from time to time!! Now I got it!!

Even if you choose not to implement any of these suggestions, we strongly encourage you to pay very close attention to the "Quality Guidelines," which outline some of the illicit practices that may lead to a site being removed entirely from the Google index or otherwise penalized. If a site has been penalized, it may no longer show up in results on Google.com or on any of Google's partner sites.

When your site is ready:

• Have other relevant sites link to yours.
• Submit it to Google at http://www.google.com/addurl.html.
• Submit a Sitemap as part of our Google Webmaster Tools. Google uses your Sitemap to learn about the structure of your site and to increase our coverage of your webpages.
• Make sure all the sites that should know about your pages are aware your site is online.
• Submit your site to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!, as well as to other industry-specific expert sites.

Design and content guidelines

• Make a site with a clear hierarchy and text links. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link.
• Offer a site map to your users with links that point to the important parts of your site. If the site map is larger than 100 or so links, you may want to break the site map into separate pages.
• Create a useful, information-rich site, and write pages that clearly and accurately describe your content.
• Think about the words users would type to find your pages, and make sure that your site actually includes those words within it.

Technical guidelines

• Use a text browser such as Lynx to examine your site, because most search engine spiders see your site much as Lynx would. If fancy features such as JavaScript, cookies, session IDs, frames, DHTML, or Flash keep you from seeing all of your site in a text browser, then search engine spiders may have trouble crawling your site.
• Allow search bots to crawl your sites without session IDs or arguments that track their path through the site. These techniques are useful for tracking individual user behavior, but the access pattern of bots is entirely different. Using these techniques may result in incomplete indexing of your site, as bots may not be able to eliminate URLs that look different but actually point to the same page.
• Make sure your web server supports the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. This feature allows your web server to tell Google whether your content has changed since we last crawled your site. Supporting this feature saves you bandwidth and overhead.
• Make use of the robots.txt file on your web server. This file tells crawlers which directories can or cannot be crawled. Make sure it's current for your site so that you don't accidentally block the Googlebot crawler. Visit http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/faq.html to learn how to instruct robots when they visit your site. You can test your robots.txt file to make sure you're using it correctly with the robots.txt analysis tool available in Google Webmaster Tools.
• If your company buys a content management system, make sure that the system can export your content so that search engine spiders can crawl your site.
• Use robots.txt to prevent crawling of search results pages or other auto-generated pages that don't add much value for users coming from search engines.

Quality guidelines

These quality guidelines cover the most common forms of deceptive or manipulative behavior, but Google may respond negatively to other misleading practices not listed here (e.g. tricking users by registering misspellings of well-known websites). It's not safe to assume that just because a specific deceptive technique isn't included on this page, Google approves of it. Webmasters who spend their energies upholding the spirit of the basic principles will provide a much better user experience and subsequently enjoy better ranking than those who spend their time looking for loopholes they can exploit.

If you believe that another site is abusing Google's quality guidelines, please report that site at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport. Google prefers developing scalable and automated solutions to problems, so we attempt to minimize hand-to-hand spam fighting. The spam reports we receive are used to create scalable algorithms that recognize and block future spam attempts.

Quality guidelines - basic principles

• Make pages for users, not for search engines. Don't deceive your users or present different content to search engines than you display to users, which is commonly referred to as "cloaking."

Quality guidelines - specific guidelines

• Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
• Don't create pages with malicious behavior, such as phishing or installing viruses, trojans, or other badware.
• Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.
• If your site participates in an affiliate program, make sure that your site adds value. Provide unique and relevant content that gives users a reason to visit your site first.

I decided to remove today my linker here, as I found out that almost sites/blogs who put their links here did not reciprocate!!! I guess I don't need to apologize!!! just read my post before this post!!!

Hi everyone!! It's weekend again!!!

Yesterday, I was trying to review my linker or this so called-link me up for adding links/blogs.. I almost took my whole day, visiting blogs, leaving messages, commenting, and also request for add esp. those who already put their link to my blogs... a lot of bloghoppers just added their blog to mine but did not reciprocate...sorry you will be deleted!!!

I was just disappointed seeing that a lot did not link me up back. Did they not understand my instruction or request in my linker???? I know, just like me you are also very busy.. I understand that as it is also the same with my situation. I believed we all have the same aim or purpose why we are all doing this so called blogging. But I hope that you also understand what it means by RECIPROCITY. Now, I understand the comment of Mel, author of the Mondaymorning power and Big Bang meme , in one of my blogs saying that some people are just making tag or meme links/bloglinking to build more traffic for themselves and they only do it for their own good and not for the good of everybody who participate in the meme/bloglinking!! They just want to take advantage and don't reciprocate.
Mel, thanks a lot of that comment!! now I know and understand. Thank you too for the Big Bang meme!!

I believed I still have to understand a lot of things here in the blogworld. I am still very new and I would like to thank those people, fellow bloggers and friends who taught and imparted me some ideas, opinions, suggestions and teachings to make my blogging improve. I really appreciate it guys..!!! My apology if ever I was able to struck here some people!!!

• eating and eating and eating (butod na kaayo ako bilbil)

• being generous.... (sa makaya lang)..ampo lang mo daug ko lotto arun magparty jud tanan nga friends bloggers labi na bisdak!!!hehehe....

• being a shoulder to cry on..ayaw lang pud basaa kaayo ako shoulder sa luha ha!!!

• showed direction... kung nasaag di ba..if kabalo pud ko sa right direction siyempre!!
• did charity works...kung kadaug lagi ko sa lotto....
  
• gave money to beggars....mao jud...unsaon man kay beggar pud ko..hehehe
  
• gave food and clothing...kung badly needed gyud
  
• assisted in his/her need (palayason kung nagbinastos (di vah sistah Twinks like what you mentioned to ur blog!!!..kilawon pa jud ug way asin-asin ug suka-suka kung di mulayas!!)
