Lappy is Working Again

Happy Veterans Day to all American friends! Anyway, I am glad that after my laptop is working again.It was diagnosed with a severe fever last weekend. After I brought it to the doctor, there it goes, I can open it again. I was so worried when it wasn't working good because I am thinking of buying new one again. I just remember that it is still on warranty because I just bought it last year in November. It has a 24 months warranty. I hope it won't work weird again. Thanks also to my Ace netbook who had helped when my Asus was out of service last weekend.

My New ASUS X70AF - TY013V

I was thinking last time whether to order a DSLR camera or a new Desktop or laptop. I decided to order a laptop last week because I always use it everyday. just need a new one because the old one desktop that I have is processing very slow now. I am currently using my small ACER Aspire One netbook. I don't like it that much because the screen is so small. Hubby has an HP laptop with Windows Vista program but I also don't like it. The solution to my problem is the new Asus laptop that I ordered last week. I believed I am very lucky because I have it for a cheaper price. It normally cost 1,169 euros but I had it for 666.00 Euros. Today, I took a look at it again in the website where I ordered it and it is no longer available. I hope to have it in the next days.

Hubby's HP Pavilion Process so Slow

I should normally be using hubby's HP Pavilion laptop with Vista program but it is just processing very very slow. Imagine sometimes when I open it, it took me an hour or two to do that. Sometimes it just makes me feel so mad. Sorry to say that. Honestly folks, I am not a computer expert. That is also the reason why I am asking the experts out there what are probably the reasons why it is processing so slow. I also want to surf it online why it is acting like that. Mozilla Crash Report

I don't know guys if you have the same problem like what I just experience a while ago. I was in the middle of updating one of my blogs and then all the windows in my pc were gone. There was a message that appeared on my screen where I made a screen shot of it. I am only wondering why this happens sometimes in my computer. I am not a computer expert which makes me afraid that I can't anymore open my pc. Any idea from the experts why this happen? Thanks in advance. Here is the screen shot I made.

Warning: Don't Press F1 in your Keyboard, It Might Harm your PC

I was a bit scared now because I am still using a Windows XP Program. I was a bit enlighten because I am using a safer browser Mozilla Firefox. I just read awhile ago regarding a news over the internet warning all users of Windows XP and those who are using Internet Explorer browser. Microsoft confirmed that there is a danger to your computer security because the Hacker used that F1 Help Key to attack your computers.

If you press F1 in your keyboard, there might be a risk that your computer will be attacked by viruses. It is said that users of Windows XP using Internet Explorer browser are vulnerable to such risks. On the other hand, users of Windows 7, Vista, Server 2008 and Server 2008 R2 are on the safer side.

It is also advice that you better use safer internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Opera. If ever there are script running or appearing while you are browsing online, it is advice that you better stop it from running. What Happened to My Eexternal Hard Drive

Happy first day of March! I am not really happy this morning because as I was opening my 1000 Gb external hard drive where I saved all of my pictures, it won't open anymore. I was really afraid about it because all my important pictures, files and documents are stored in there. What happened was, I was trying to insert another USB stick so that I can transfer pictures from my external HD to the USB stick for developing. After I inserted the USB stick or flash drive, my 1 terabyte HD stop functioning already. I tried to plug and unplug it for some times but still it won't open thoroughly. It will open for some seconds but later on it will also turn-off. I am getting scared already afraid that I will lose all my important files. What I did was, I unplugged the USB stick and turn-on again the External HD. After around three times of restarting it all over again, it finally works. Until now, I am browsing some pictures from it. Thanks goodness, it is working again. If the same thing happened to you, you might try what I did.

have you read about my previous post about very slow internet connection. I am happy right now after I experience the fastest internet connection here in Manila. This is in Makati Avenue and the name is 168 Station. The facility is good including the computers and their furniture. The chair alone is already very comfortable. It has a very good air-condition. The smokers has a separate room. There is also a toilet. If you wish to find the fastest internet connection in Makati, this is so far the 168 Station. I am happy to be here!

Shopping For Electronics and Gadgets

How was your weekend peeps? I hope you had a lovely one. I mentioned in one of my blogs that we will go to Neumarkt on Sunday which we did yesterday. We drove there after attending the Kirchweih or Patronal Fiesta in HB's twin sister's town in Lengenfeld. It was already late in the afternoon as we arrived in Neumarkt. We went to some shops like Tevi, a store that sells household equipments, electronics and gadgets and a lot more. I ended up buying two Nokia cellphones which I will give as presents for my family. I also bought some cables and adaptors for my Iphone and computer. I tried to look for good cameras but there are still quite expensive. I saw one with 15 MP that cost around 699.00 Euros. I still need some money for my long vacation to my beloeved Philippines this month. I wish to buy a better camera next year. HB was also looking for desk top computers. We are hoping to buy one early next year. We had a great weekend after spending with some friends who stayed during the weekend in our house.

Can't Connect to the Internet

I am finally online. I had some migraine today but I am thankful that it was finally over. As I opened tonight my other computer, the old one that I like, I was wondering because I cannot connect to the internet anymore. At first, firefox had some updates. Later, there was a message from my Norton Personal firewall that there was a program that was trying to enter my computer. I forgot now the name of that program. I totally blocked that program and after that, I was not able to connect to the internet anymore. The other problem was, I don't understand some internet and computer terms because it is in German language. I just tried to find out what was going on because I can't go online anymore. I also tried to check my firewall settings. After almost an hour of figuring it, I finally did it. I was quite nervous because I thought my pc was already attacked by some viruses or there might be something wrong with all the programs. I can't remember exactly what I did three hours ago. To ease the annoying internet connection, I watched some TV programs instead. I am happy that I am online again.

My PC Runs Slow Again

I'm happy to be here again and give you some updates. I am thankful that I am feeling better again after some migraine attack since yesterday. Is your pc processing great? I hope so! I got some problem with my computer. Last Friday as I opened my pc, it took around 20 minutes for it to process. It is really very annoying sometimes especially if you have a lot of things to do online. I know that this is quite an obsolete pc but it is still working and I don't want to throw it away. With the crisis that is going on now, buying a new pc might cost from $500.00 to $2,000.00. I already bought a new netbook the other month but I still love this old one. 6 Gigabytes Left on My PC

Hello everyone! I hope that you had a good start of the week. This is the last week of the month and another special month is coming for me. As what I had mentioned in my other blog, I am quite busy today. Imagine I only have 6 Gigabytes capacity left in my computer! I guess that is one of the reasons why my computer process so slowly. My old PC has only 80G capacity hard disk drive to store files, documents, photos, etcetera. Most of the stuffs I stored in it are pictures of my travel and escapades. I consumed my whole afternoon transferring those photos in my external hard disk drive. That is also the reason why I don't have the chance to search for effective weight loss pills. I was just scared every time I look at myself in front of the mirror with all those bulges. I know I have to lose extra weight because having such is not really good for the body but I have to save first my computer by deleting some files. Just a few minutes ago, I check how many gigabytes were left. I have again 50% of the total HDD capacity. I am still not done with deleting files. What Happened to my PC?

I'm finally done with gardening after the rain this afternoon. I worked in our garden until 8:30 PM tonight. My dear hubby told me to stop around 7PM but I still continue to work..It rained again this afternoon. We had again thunder and lighting but not that much as yesterday. At this time, I was in front of my PC running the anti-virus program. As I heard one lighting, my PC and the light inside the PC room, turned off and on again. Is it the effect of the lightning? I guess so because yesterday we had a total black-out due to thunder and lightning. The main switch which I don't know automatically turned-off. My husband fix it as he came home from work.

As my PC turned-on again, there are some messages that appeared to my screen. I had the chance to write it down while the system is checking for some thing. here it is;

After the PC was check, it begin to load again and do its normal thing. I am just scared when this happen because I am not a computer techie..I am happy that I am here again! I guess it is safe to turn-off our computer or any electronic gadget when there are thunder and lightning.

I Need To Update my Windows XP Software

I guess I really need to update my Windows XP SP2 software to SP3. I am not so sure about this but I am experiencing a lot of problems now. I can't view my mails/inbox in yahoo. All I see in Entrecard are all black boxes and the worst thing, my computer is running very slow. I new netbook just arrived last week. I ordered it as back-up if ever my obsolete computer will crash. I already tried to use my new netbook and so far, I can view my mails there and can also see all the Entrecard banners in my blogs.

As of this moment this pc is still working but there are just problems that I always encounter like what I just mentioned. Before I update it to SP3, I still need to back-up all my important files and documents to my external hard drive. Hopefully next week! I'll let you know guys if the outcome is better! Tschuss!

I got a call last night from a friend. As usual, we had a great conversation because we seldom see each other. We also seldom talk over the phone unless there are some important things to share and talk to. She also mentioned that she need help for some computer tutorials. Honestly guys, I am not an expert about computer but I know the basics. I know how to open a computer, read my mails, send emails, write articles in my web blogs, uploading and downloading of pictures and some other basic stuffs. There are some friends of mine who still don't know how to do those stuffs. Since we live far away from each other, I guess I can recommend a good site to help her with some computer tutorials.

Finally Got my Acer Netbook

sI am back guys! I had a late lunch with my husband. We had a good conversation also regarding a lot of things. Just letting you know that I finally got my Acer netbook last Friday. It finally came after three weeks of waiting for it. I guess it is a good one after trying it last Friday. Some disadvantages are; it has a German keyboard and has a German language. I still have a difficulty adjusting with its German keyboard. It's different compared to the English one. I was also trying to figure out how to put it to wireless LAN but I was not successful. Basic German language is find for me but there are still a lot of terminologies that I need to learn in German. At least, I can understand basically. I am quite sleepy right now..I want to take some rest and come back later..have a nice Monday to all!

Still Did Not received My Net book

I mentioned here almost three two weeks ago that I ordered a netbook online. Until now it is still not delivered. I just want to try if that is really a good netbook. I know that it is good for traveling because it is very light. I almost decided to order another one but finally wait now till it comes. I also received an email from the company that it will be delivered soon around middle of this month. I am quite contented with this company at least they let me know the status of my order. In contrary to Quelle, an online shop who even don't answer my emails regarding the status of some orders before. I am quite disappointed with their customer service. Is it the reason why the company is now in hot water? We will see.
