Your Security Software Expires in Two Days

This message has been popping-up in my screen everytime I open my laptop. It says, "Your Security Software Expires in Two Days". I have a three months free Security Software when I bought my new Asus laptop. I guess Trend Micro Internet Security is a good software. I never had a problem with my laptop as I am using this software.

The message that pops-up on my screen also says the following information:

"2340 problems were stopped by Trend Micro Internet Security. The following status of your computer.
-21 viruses and spywares were stopped
-2319 unsafe websites were blocked

You will soon run the risk of exposure to millions of viruses, spyware programs, and unsafe websites. "

I will update my new Security Software anytime today. It is better to avoid computer problems brought by viruses and other threats online.

Internet Security Warning

It happened as I opened my other website Explore Germany. This security warning below appeared on the tagboard of this site. My tagboard is powered by Shoutmix with URL http://www.shoutmix.com. Does really opening this site may put my computer at risk? I want to browse online if this site has really malicious software. I just copied and pasted this message for my personal purposes. Here it is;

"Opening this website may put your security at risk
Trend Micro has not yet evaluated this website

The website you wanted to see might transmit malicious software to your computer, or has done that before to someone else. It may also show signs of involvement in online scams or fraud.

Because you have set your Protection Against Web Threats to "High," all websites not yet checked by Trend Micro have been blocked for your protection.

Cookies, Threats for My PC

Thanks to my internet security, Trend Micro for deleting the 6 cookies which are considered as threats for my computer. This is the advantage of having an internet security in your PC. I was trying to find online what is Cookie Pointroll which is first on the list that was deleted. Here is the explanation below

"Pointroll cookies store information about a PC user's interaction with a specific website. Standard Cookies are not inherently dangerous, but they can be misused and exploited and may allow a distinct and apparently unrelated website to access the same information. If more than one website can access a cookie that has been placed on the user's PC, that cookie poses a security and privacy risk. Tracking cookies can allow vendors to analyze browsing behaviour for marketing purposes."

Cookie Double Click, PC Security Threat

My new notebook has a pre-installed security and anti-virus software. I can use it for free up to three months. It is named Trend Micro Internet Security. Just this afternoon, my PC Security found some risks and threats in my computer. The threat name is cookie doubleclick. The risk is medium and the type is web browser cookie. I guess not all people know about cookies in computer but for sure cookies for eating are very familiar to you.

To my little knowledge, cookies are some sort of data stored in your computer every time you visit a website. Sometimes these cookies can be harmful to your computer because it contain spywares, malwares, worms and viruses. It is always advisable for your PC to have antivirus and internet security.

Thanks to my computer security and anti-virus which automatically detect, fix and delete those harmful cookies and other sort of computer viruses.

Here is the snapshot I made of my PC security report today.

Security Warning About Blog Catalog

I was surprised as I want to open blogcatalog.com. I was not able to do so because my internet security blocked it due to below reasons. I have been using and opening this site because I am also its member. I also have some blogs listed on this blog directory site.

I was also wondering because I can't see anymore the widgets of BC in my sites. Any idea what's wrong with it? I tried to check on the code and it is still there but there are no widgets showing on my sites.

This is the message that appeared as I tried to open BC. I even made a screen shot of it below. This is also the first time that I used Trend Micro Internet Security because it is already installed in my new Notebook which I am using at the moment. I can use this internet security for free in three months.

Anyway, here is the message that appeared on my screen everytime I tried to open blogcatalog.com.

"Opening this website may put your security at risk
