Lost My Vacation Photos

I was not happy last month because I lost a lot of pictures from my vacation in the Philippines. My Memory Stick pro Dou which I used for my compact Sony camera was corrupted which is one of the reasons why all the pictures were lost. Another thing that happened was when I was downloading my pictures from my SD cards to my sister's computer but I was not able to see most of the pictures. There are only around 10 pictures I saw in the picture folder after downloading. That was really unbelievable and I was not happy about it. I am thankful that my sister also had a camera where the pictures were downloaded successfully. I also don't know the exact reason why I was not able to download the pictures and why was my MS Pro Dou was corrupted. In fact, when I also tried to view and download it in my computer here in Germany, I could still not find it. Does my 8Gb MS Pro Dou was totally damaged? You better be careful when downloading vacation pictures. You don't stay in that vacation place all the time. I would suggest having another camera, extra batteries or extra memory cards for any emergencies especially if you really wish to have more vacation photos as souvenirs.

I guess you will be wondering about my title. Have you been to Bohol? Have you seen one of the most interesting tourist attraction in Bohol which are the Chocolate Hills. If not I am sharing an image below which I personally took during my second visit to Bohol last Feb. 1, 2010. I was there and I love it! Ordered A Sony DSLR A230

I finally ordered another camera online. This time it is a lens camera. It is a Sony DSLR-A230. It cost around 500.00 Euros. I read a lot of reviews that it is good for a beginner like me. Wish to Travel Around the World

It has been one of my greatest dreams to travel around the world. Am I a travel addict? It depends..When given the chance and the resources to do so, I would say yes I will!! More than two weeks ago, I just came back from a three weeks trip in England. It was a great experience seeing one of the most visited countries and cities around the world considering London. I had been to different places there and at the same time met some friends. Great appreciation to my friends who kindly offered accommodations in their lovely homes. See also my appreciation post for these good friends in my Simply The Best site.

Just today as I went grocery shopping, I picked again some advertisements about short trips, travel and cruises. How I just wish that one day I can have a Luxury Travel around the world through cruises. I know there are a lot of travel agencies that offer such great services. Never forget to mention Travel Store whom since its inception has garnered various awards and recognition through their great customer service, integrity and good values to customers. Comeback of the WWW Addict!!

How are you my dear friends and readers!! I hope all is fine and great!! I am finally back from my two months vacation escapades from US...wow the longest escapades I ever had. Actually I arrived last Monday July 7, 2008..Since Germany is 9 hours advance, I quite lost some time..but it's ok there's nothing to worry about.

I had a very long journey from Las Vegas to Munich..I left las Vegas last Saturday July 5 at 11:55 pm boarding flight#DL 1092 with Delta Airlines and arrived at around 6:53 am Georgia time. I had a 9 hour stop-over in Atlanta, Georgia and boarded Flight#DL0130 at around 4:15 pm. I was just thankful that the plane was not so full that I occupied 2 seats and really lied down and relax while travelling. well, one advantage of being not so tall that I can just squeeze myself on the 2 seats.. I arrived in Munich Monday already. It was really a very long and tiresome trip for me especially that I travelled alone..

I would say, if "There is a departure, there is always and arrival".. I am sad leaving Las Vegas but also happy seeing Germany again. I believed life is sometimes like that. I thought, I would be staying already in US but it is still quite difficult considering a lot of things. I would only say that sometimes in our life, we just need to make a right decision to be happy...besides not all material things can make a person happy...Your loved ones especially your family are still the most important things that could ever happened to you..I believed I made a right decision going back to Germany again which I already considered my new home.

This is just a bit update of my comeback...try to visit my other sites for more updates and photos of my adventure in USA..before I forgot, I also have a new blog about my travel and adventure in USA.. This blog entitled Adventure in carefree USA is still under construction, so please be patient and bear with me!!

It is almost midnight in Germany, so i guess I need to sign off now...keep reading...

Buying a Lot in the Philippines

I bought in 2006 a lot in the Philippines. It is on installment basis.Finally last Dec. 2007 I already paid it in full...Got again another problem now because the developer already processed the Title...I mean the title is already there.. It means that I have to pay for the Title Processing including capital gain tax and all required cost. That is a lot of money now because the cost of the title depends on the appraisal of the lot. Since the lot is located near the city of Cebu (around 15-20 minutes if you go by the new Motorway) , it's appraisal is quite high now...Besides if I wait till next year for the Title processing, it might cost even more because the lot appraisal is always getting high all the time.

I should be going home this coming March to visit my family esp. my Mother and my sister who will be graduating in Nursing. But due to my obligation to pay the Title processing (which really cost a lot of money), the money that I will spend for the vacation will then be paid to the Title processing..What a pity!!!..I really want to go home...see my family and of course see my homeland...and yup see my paradise!!! I miss Philippines!!!
