What Happened to my PC?

I'm finally done with gardening after the rain this afternoon. I worked in our garden until 8:30 PM tonight. My dear hubby told me to stop around 7PM but I still continue to work..It rained again this afternoon. We had again thunder and lighting but not that much as yesterday. At this time, I was in front of my PC running the anti-virus program. As I heard one lighting, my PC and the light inside the PC room, turned off and on again. Is it the effect of the lightning? I guess so because yesterday we had a total black-out due to thunder and lightning. The main switch which I don't know automatically turned-off. My husband fix it as he came home from work.

As my PC turned-on again, there are some messages that appeared to my screen. I had the chance to write it down while the system is checking for some thing. here it is;

"CHKDSK is verifying the files (stage 1 of 3)
checking file system in C:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
One of your disk needs to be checked for consistency.
You may cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended that you continue.
Windows will now check the disk."

After the PC was check, it begin to load again and do its normal thing. I am just scared when this happen because I am not a computer techie..I am happy that I am here again! I guess it is safe to turn-off our computer or any electronic gadget when there are thunder and lightning.

Help! My MS PRO Dou was stucked up in my Card Reader

This a not so good but funny experience! Yesterday, I want to upload photos from our garden to my computer. I bought a new card reader. It has two holes where you can insert any cards like SD, MMC, CF, MD and SM. I thought it also accept MS PRO Dou. I just insert the card without reading which cards it accepts. To my surprise, it went all the way inside that I can get it anymore. I was scared that I might destroy the card reader and the card itself. I tried to find a small clip to get it. It seems that a thorn was pulled-out from my skin after I succeeded from getting it. I am also thankful because I did not break the gadgets.

Just a tip and friendly reminder for today: be sure to read first any instruction of any gadget you will be using especially if you are new to it. You might break it! Time for a short break.

Taking Care of Man's Best Friend

Good morning everyone! I'm striking here again and sharing some information especially about man's best friend. Any idea out there what is really man's best friend? Since I was young, the only man's best friend that are know are the doggies. Speaking of doggies, I have a lot of them back home. Sometimes we encounter health problems with our dogs. One common health problems might be the shedding of dogs to the point that it might get worse once not immediately taking care of. I am not an expert about this topic guys. I rather suggest that you visit Buy Dog Beds about tips and information on how to reduce shedding to man's best friend. They also share tips and information about dog's dental care, keeping dogs healthy and happy, vaccinations on dog, buying the best dog bed and a lot more. I guarantee you, this is a very helpful site about dog topics!

Problem About Uploading Pictures in Blogger

Last week, a friend of mine told me that she have problems regarding uploading photos in blogger. I told her that sometimes it also happened to me. I also told he that maybe that time is a down time in uploading photos. It did happened to me last night. I tried to upload pictures in some of my sites but it also won't go through. I finally found the reason why I can't upload pictures. As you know we can open now a lot of windows in our computer at the same time. Whatever window you want to view, you can just click it to your screen. As I turned off my computer, I found out that another window was already opened which was hiding at the back everytime I open another window...sounds confusing guys? What you can do is maybe try to minimize the main window that you are currently using so that you can see if there is/are another window(s) open at that time. That is the reason why everytime I click upload photos in blogger it won't go through. This is only a reminder if you have the same problem. Check it out first unless blogger says there is a down time in uploading pictures in which there is always a message that is appearing in the screen. I already experienced it last time. Last night's experience is not a blogger's problem. That's just my info for today! hope it helps a bit! see yah later again!

Causes of Liver Damage

Hello dear friends!! I got some helpful tips for your health..I believe that these are true..so please read it..don't forget to share and tell your family and friends!! hope this info will help us to be aware of our health..

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late
2. Not urinating in the morning
3. Too much eating
4. Skipping breakfast
5. Consuming too much medication
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We should prevent sickness without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time conditioning are very important for our bodies to absorb good nutrients and get rid of harmful chemicals.

Adding structure to the job of sales

There is something wonderful about structure. Having to start and end at a specific time helps rivet one's attention.

One of the great things about sales is that for many hours during the day, there is nobody watching. For too many salespeople that lack of structure gives them too many choices. They can drive around aimlessly or purposefully drive golf balls at the range.

Having standards for your salespeople and actually enforcing them can add needed structure. Here are three ways to add structure to the job of sales and increase sales.

Write the Proposal

1. Stress that no more than two customer needs analysis interviews can be done without converting at least one of them into a written proposal. This stresses the importance of acting on the information salespeople gather instead of just gathering it. When a salesperson has nine proposals to write, it's paralyzing.

Book the Proposal Meeting

2. Require salespeople to book the meeting for the proposal before they leave the customer needs analysis meeting. "I'll get back to you as soon as I have an idea," is an unacceptable conclusion to a data-gathering interview.

"When is your proposal booked?" is a question you should ask of every salesperson that has completed a data-gathering interview. Pretty soon they'll start asking the question themselves. Booking the proposal meeting before they leave ensures that your salespeople won't wait until they feel like it to write their proposal. They'll have to turn it around in five business days (if that's your standard.)

Practice the Proposal

3. Have a couple of short sales meeting segments where people practice proposals they are giving in the next couple of days. Requiring people to practice proposals prevents procrastinating. It also lets you see what's going out of your shop and into the marketplace.

Sales Tip!!

How about sharing for today Chris Lytle's Sales Tip:
Don't worry about being liked. The prospect doesn't have to like you to buy from you. The prospect does have to trust you and your company. The prospect has to need or want what you're selling. You have to have a service or product to fit the need. Your timing has to be right. And the prospect has to believe that he or she is investing in a solution. Help your prospect become a customer and get a positive outcome. Being liked is a by-product of being of service.
